Sitting a Client Up in Bed:

•roll to one side and sit up

•totally dependent client

Module 3

Moving a Client Up in Bed:

•moving bottom up the bed

•getting out of bed to move up the bed

Module 4

Sitting a Client Out of Bed:

•sit upright legs over the edge

•roll over, push up to sitting

•techniques for totally dependent clients

 

Module 5

Staff Assisted Standing (SAS):

•Staff assisted standing (SAS) technique with one or two carers to assess and assist the client to stand

 

Module 6

Staff Assisted Walking (SAW):

•Staff assisted walking (SAW) technique with one or two carers to assist the client to walk
